Wow, and here I was thinking I'd have to post something new.

My favorite part (in the long run) is learning how to do something new. I try to do this as much as possible. It slows the process down consideribly, but in the end it's worth it - especially if it's not just something that's new to me, but an honest to goodness new way of doing something.

Seeing it play back on my screen, full-blast, usually justifies all the effort and then some :)

x2 ;p
and then Seeing Quick comments and ops about how the video nearly moved someone to tears (or something emotionally similar) Is the next best part of editing after that :D

Then there's the times when I go to bed pondering what to do with a certain part of a vid that I'm beating myself up about, then I dream something awesome, but by the time I wake up, turn on my comp and open Premiere, I forget what it was. :?
