This video was created based on a Forum based Role Playing Game I was a member of. My character Saotome Satoshi was a Ninja of the Sand Village, I used Jin from Samurai Champloo for my Avatar and basic character apperence.
The story...
The story was that upon my Character's graduation from the Academy he came home to find his mother hanging from a rafter in their family shop. His father had already passed on when the boy was only three. His mother was his only family, but her suicide made no sense. Saotome suspected foul play.
On the day he became a chuunin the young teen recieved a mysterious scroll which confirmed all his beliefs. Unable to control his rage any longer, the Sand Ninja left his home land insearch of the one known as the Blue Rose, one one responsible for killing his mother. To find out why they killed her, why they would send a scroll taunting him, and to kill the Blue Rose...
The forum saddly died before I was able to complete the full story I had worked on for more then a year... Here is a music video that sort of captures the journy.
I look forward to your comments pointers for future AMV's...
My first AMV "The Journey of Saotome"

Actually, the quality is fairly good, I ran this through an "old film" filter which made it a little grainier as well you may note thin white lines appear, vanish, and run along the screan like as if this were an old film.
but yes... I COULD have made the file about twice as large and made the quality far better... I still have the option to do so if I ever felt like taking such a thing to a convention, but as it is I did not want people spending an hour downloading my video. I also wanted a video of fairly decent size so that I may upload it to youtube.com and allow non a-m-v.org members the chance to view it.
However I want to give a big MEGA huge shout out to moonie211 who gave me AMAZING advice and really helped me through this video. I plan to take this to a Convention this summer, and the higherquality video is going to have a "credit special thanks" to you!
