Acceptable nudity

I had never heard of the term 'artistic nudity' before, so I was unware what it entailed. In the UK the term is not as well known (its either nudity or its not).

Ok, since there is already a thread on questionable nudity, I just submitted a beta to a MEP using Ranma 1/2, and I used a scene where girl Ranma is naked in the shower. Now every thread I've read on it says generally Ranma is ok, but the coordinator asked, so I thought I'd double check. Here's a link to it if you wanted to check it out.

Fanservice nudity isn't in an of it self sexual in nature. You may be aroused by it, but that isn't the intent.

There's this thing about anime nudity (and it's also seen in japanese porn) where detail says a lot about content (genitalia is never shown, so if you see it clearly, you're clearly watching (un-censored) hentai and that clearly is sexual nudity). i.e. nippleless breasts in transformation sequences are considered definately non-sexual, shower scenes like in ranma are fanservice, and unless the character in question is pleasuring themselves, it's not sexual nudity.
