Yep, practice makes perfect ^_^
Don't forget to cut your clips into tiny pieces and drink alot!

Some good tips are

1: Don't have subs in your videos (They can be cropped)
2: Don't have the DIVX logo encoded int your videos.
3: Don't let scenes run on too long just to fill in a part of the video
4: Don't have lip flap unless you are trying to lip synch
5: Don't Edit with Divx or Xvid footage
6: While mp3s can work its best to use wav in video editing
7: Don't have stray frames
8: Drink lots of sake
9: Have fun!
10: Make the top 10 list
11: Profit?

I almost forgot the most important one!

2.5: Make sure you have plenty of footage!

If you don't this will happen...

yea i looked at the video, and i thought it was pretty funny. right now im using the program sony vegas 6.0. i have pinnacle studio version 9.0. i just need to install it, and get it working. one question why exactly is it better to work with wav files instead of mp3's?

Sometimes mp3s can cause sync problems when using them in video editors.
Im not sure if its all of them but i know it can happen with VBR ones.
also wav files seem to handle better than mp3s

Personally the editing technique I enjoy the most is the slice 'em technique. That's where you line up footage of a character you absolutely despise, live action footage of Decoy for example. Then you take the razor tool and slice off one frame at a time while imaging his screams of pain as you slowly and methodologically cut his remaining time in this world apart 1/24th a second a time. He'll beg you to take pity and stop but you keep going, cutting and slicing your way through his squirming corpse. Oh the power, the absolute power. OH GOD I'VE NEVER FELT THIS GOOD BEFORE! AHHHHHHHhhhhhh

...

Anyone have a cigarette?
