Yep, practice makes perfect ^_^PLMarine wrote:alright thx for the suggestions. yea ill try some stuff out, and after im done i'll post it up or something. i think i get the general idea, but overall i need to practice.
Don't forget to cut your clips into tiny pieces and drink alot!
Some good tips are
1: Don't have subs in your videos (They can be cropped)
2: Don't have the DIVX logo encoded int your videos.
3: Don't let scenes run on too long just to fill in a part of the video
4: Don't have lip flap unless you are trying to lip synch
5: Don't Edit with Divx or Xvid footage
6: While mp3s can work its best to use wav in video editing
7: Don't have stray frames
8: Drink lots of sake
9: Have fun!
10: Make the top 10 list
11: Profit?

Re: Editing
Personally the editing technique I enjoy the most is the slice 'em technique. That's where you line up footage of a character you absolutely despise, live action footage of Decoy for example. Then you take the razor tool and slice off one frame at a time while imaging his screams of pain as you slowly and methodologically cut his remaining time in this world apart 1/24th a second a time. He'll beg you to take pity and stop but you keep going, cutting and slicing your way through his squirming corpse. Oh the power, the absolute power. OH GOD I'VE NEVER FELT THIS GOOD BEFORE! AHHHHHHHhhhhhhPLMarine wrote:Whats some editing technique that u guys enjoy? I've recently started actually editing in my videos but im unfamiliar of techniques that look appealing. Any ideas would b great.
