29.97 fps ok with everyone?

anyone want something other than 4:3 720x480?

i'm not married to any aspect ratio. just throwing one out there to see what everyone wants.

if your working with a wide screen source (like 8bit), i can help with cropping and resizing if you don't know how

I'd stick with 640x480 since inevitably people will complain about 720x480.

How many clips do you want, and do they ALL have to have the ORLY owl? Every 15 secs seems kind of repetitive.

Sounds fine to me otherwise.

well, it HAS to have a buttsecks theme. i guess the owl can be optional though

considered your post a bit more, and updated the rules in the first post. now you can choose between buttsecks and owl. or do both.

Sounds good to me. And whether its 720x480 or 640x480, its all good to me. Thanks to Premiere and VDub, either is doable

So any particular codec you want the final in?

by final, you mean the version for the org? (assuming it turns out org safe. if not i can host).
or do you mean the type you should send me to piece together?

lagarith for what you send me when it's done. and i think i'm gonna go with xvid for the final, unless someone really wants something else.
again, i'm not married to the codec either, but i don't think anyones gonna object to using it

This was what I meant. (I don't care what you do with it aftre you have everything as long as it looks ok. lol. I'm just wondering what we should be doing so I send the right thing and not have to resend 10 million times. lol.) But whatever works. I just wanted to know what I'm doing.

also, i'll be setting up an ftp for upload when the segments are ready.
for segment uploads, we need to decide on a standard codec.
i'd like lagarith, but i'd be willing to settle for indeo as well.
so what do you guys want? lagarith or indeo?
