Trouble wit Media Center
So I have windows media center and apparently all my other video programs can't play any video files. I open VLC, there's audio, but no video. On top of that WMC can't play ogg, quicktime, or mkv file types. Problem is when i rip video files, I can't check quality because WMC won't read .vob files. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

If you mean the Media Center version of Windows XP, then you should be able to do the same things as the Home and Pro versions. If you mean the Media Center GUI/app of the WinXP MCE OS, then don't use it to play back those vids. Other than that, try re-installing/updating VLC and/or the codecs for Windows Media Player or whatever other player software you use.
