You mean Nana, not Mayu. Nana = 7 in Japanese, remember?

I don't think there is a vector count in the manga. Lucy has way more than 4 vectors in the manga, and they don't necessarily come out of her back.

Oh yeah I meant Nana of course, I don`t think that Mayu would have survived those kind of experiments!

To put it lightly, I think all the youngsters (Kouta, Yuka, and Mayu [and also possibly Nana]) are all a bit dim. Maybe its just the dramatic irony, but I think I would be suspicious if I found that people were being killed and slapped around while a seemingly innocent girl was living with me.

Definitely lucy, only one who's not retarded.

I oughta mention some stuff me and my friend noticed. We were watching the fourth disc and I had seen all of it before and my friend had seen most of the episodes. We got to the final episode and I told him to watch the part

where Lucy and Kohta talk and hug each other. I was hoping he'd spot the hand symbol that Lucy always makes when the shot pans to Kohta's back. My friend spotted something even more amazing. He noticed before me that when Lucy changes to Nyu she becomes shorter, and when Nyu becomes Lucy she becomes taller. Well, when they hug each other, not only does Lucy make the hand symbol but she also becomes shorter! It's as though she and Nyu have merged and are no longer distinguishable

. I dunno, maybe this helps explain the ending.

not to mention that her horns change with her persona. whenever she is lucy and is in a slightly phycotic state her horns seem to get longer and stand out more, where as when shes nyu she has much more subtle horns that are more against her head that lucy's.
