Ripping of other AMV's to create an own has not only the quality problems as using fansubs. If the ripped AMVs used effects it will make look the "new" AMV weird because the synching will fail and the use of effects becomes incosistent. And if someone puts your AMV on said or similar websites and claims it as his own - you've made it. It was good enough that someone wants to pretend it was his own.
