Real Otaku Hero: Mr. Anime Fanservice Inventor

Post by Illia Sadri » Fri Sep 22, 2006 6:27 pm

Alright since i am not in Atlanta and the vids being shown over the weekend to those there, going to release my pro vid. And yes it was one of the few scant comedy videos in that contest this year.

It's absolutely cheap but it was a lot of fun to make. Have fun catching all the references in it. The banner below links directly to the org profile for it.

When this came up on the AWA Pro discs I remember thinking it was pretty well-made (but not my usual cup of tea). Then my roommate walked into the room, glimpsed my screen, and did a double-take. And then I had a little bit of explaining to do. >__>

Hahaha, well honestly the content itself is not my cup of tea but idea popped in with the song and well.... I had to make it. But if it seemed well made then that matters as much as anything else.

I was very amused. Very nicely done. I was really impressed by the masking over moving backgrounds and the placement of footage on TV screens.

HAhaahhahahhahha, I love how you make fun about fanservice altough it's mostly the audiosource itself. Anyway the technical stuff is pretty good, I like the masking and most sceneselections are also pretty awesome. The only thing that doesn't really get my approval is the long intro as well as the long outro, I'm a fan of both but not if the main video is that short. ;)

well only problem was if it was short it would be impossible to read. So any intro and outro will seem long since the vid itself is all of a min and 5 seconds or so. So your standard 15 seconds or so is a bit longer portion than the same done for a four min vid. It'a kind of one of those odd things you can't do much about.

Scary part.... My boyfriend not only remembered the scene after not watching macross for several years but knew which episode it was in, the disk it would be on and where in the episode to find it.

If you look closely, you'll notice that there are credits during the outro.

::WIN::

The irony of using kareoke(sp?) in a video about anime otaku amuses me.
