Why a no vid?
Okay i need some help guys and your who i need to go to so here i am. Ive been using Vicbond007's Guide to Working with DVD Footage for Use in Anime Music Videos and its been working great up until i get to the Prepping the .D2V File. Im not sure why i but when i upload the .VOB file into the DVD2AVI program i can't preview the clips. I know its something simple and ill probably kick myself when i find out but at the moment i can't seem to get it. So could anyone point me in the right direction. Ive been reading up on making AMVs over the last 3 days so id hate to see all my hard work go to waste. thanks.

Do the .VOBs play properly in your DVD software (PowerDVD, WinDVD, etc.)? Or if you don't have one of those, VLC Media Player? If not, you may wish to re-rip the DVD.
Also, VicBond007's guide is on the old side now. DVD2AVI has been superceded by DGIndex/DGDecode. Download here: http://www.neuron2.net/dgmpgdec/dgmpgdec.html. It works almost exactly the same way. Have you read EADFAG?
