A good suggestion would be "Mezzo" the TV series.

In it appears a VW bug that gets damaged alot and can be seen zipping around with the whole crew (some how) stuffed inside.

The car belongs to "pops" and from what I've seen of the series so far it seems that a few inside jokes are made about his poor little car.

ah my goddess has a few, (the TV series)

Sousen no aquarion has a little old car that the girl with glasses drives around (aparantly a classic) shows up somewhere around episode 10ish, don't remember exactly.

I think Full metal panic the second raid had a small underpowered car if thats the kind of "crappy" car you want... (teacher's new car that sagura took apart)

hmm....

some of the ghibli movies have scenes with some older cars in them. I beleive there was some in Whisper of the heart.

can't think of any others atm.

oh yea, the car they drive around in in Black cat. Probably similar to the Mezzo bug.

Ofcourse the Lupin series aswell.

Oh yea, and the old cars that always see their last days when "she" gets her paws on them.... in Chrono crusade

sorry for the tripple post, but if your looking for alot of footage of the same 1 car, Lupin is probably your best bet. (maybe Mezzo too, but I have not seen that aside from AMVs, so I do not know how much screen time that car gets)

hmm...I would say Azumanga Daioh and Ms. Yukari's bunged up mangled car. Probably because that woman can't drive XD I think you should have fun with that.
