Video help, PLEASE!!!!

hi ive wanted to make an amv for a very long time, so i started. ive ripped my dvds to my computer in VOD. format and windows movie maker or adobe premiere doesnt work with those and ive tried downloading some off of limewire but my programs wont accept them either. i dont know what to do, please help me

You cannot edit *VOB files. Check <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... html">this page</a> out. Should answer your problems. Also, any video editing questions go in the General Video forum.
