banners

Post by RaRe » Fri Sep 08, 2006 1:50 am

I was wondering what would cause a banner to be rejected ?

I made this banner, and it was rejected, i was hoping someone could enlighten me to why ?
Forgive me if this isnt in the right area.

this banner was probably rejected because you changed the text on the "animemusicvideos.org"

if you move it to anywhere else on the banner (aside from right below the logo) it will probably be approved... or if you leave that part of the logo in its original form, you can leave it under the logo..

im not a mod, nor do i do anything with the acceptance or rejection of banners but i have some experience in this...

though you may want to wait for a mod to come by and tell you the actual answer.

It doesn't have to be the exact same font. It just has to be legible. In this case I'd say "times new roman" is similar engough anyway.

but if you do it this way then it has to be moved to some other place on the banner :/

I'm not sure I understand what you mean... she can still put it under the amv logo... do you mean because she's changing the font it has to be moved?

banner rules wrote:The phrase "AnimeMusicVideos.org" must be present and readable somewhere on the banner.

1. The phrase on the logo will suffice if present and readable.
2. The phrase on the logo may be rendered illegible or removed from the logo itself if the phrase is present and readable elsewhere on the banner.
3. If the logo phrase is not used or readable, the added phrase should not be part or appear to be part of the logo.
4. At a minimum, the logo "AMV" oval must be readable.
