where to get videos help!

ive been wanting to make an amv for a very long time and ive finally started and i know what i want to do, i want to make it from fullmetal alchemist but i dont know where to get clips or episodes, i have them all on dvd but i dont know how to get them on the computer if i even can, and ive tried downloading the from limewire but windows movie maker and adobe premiere wont accept the file types and there are no others on limewire, PLEASE HELP ME!!!
