needs some help

ok,well I'm preaty new at this who thing,but I did make one video and my friend say it and gave me a 7 out of ten on it.but I still have a few problems which are

1:the video is on my computer but I get the clips for it on a cd-r I have so when I have that cd in,it'll play,but when I have it out,parts of the video wont work.

2:the video only plays in the video maker and not in any other player

so any one know how to fix's these's problems?

oh and I use windows movie maker for windows xp,so if any one can also tell me another video maker that I can get thats better that I can down load,please tell me.

You need to export the video from movie maker then you can play it in video players. Make sure you have the cd in the computer when you export it.

The next time you edit a video you should save the clips to your hard drive instead of a cd. That way you want have to put the disc in whenever you edit and it would probally work faster.
