Wardancer and Youth Denied on Local

Post by Warheart » Sat Sep 02, 2006 6:01 am

Wardancer

Songs:
* In Flames - Acoustic Piece
* Soilwork - Entering the angel diabolique

Anime:

* Berserk

My actually fave non effect Video I ever did. And since it was very popular I guess it's worth to be on the local after Globocide disintegrated.

Youth Denied

Song:
* Mercenary - Bulletblues

Anime:
* Kite - Director's Cut

Well, before someone complains about it being borderline: Kalium approved it for the local server. So it's also availiable again (altough it might still be in the queue status atm).

Enjoy these nice Oldschool videos. :)

well, I don't know if I already told you my opinion on icq alex, so I'll just do it once again ;P

wardancer:
a very well-synched instrumental piece that lends itself to the imagery of berserk, delivers atmosphere and makes a good use of basic effects and fades / b/w seizures
:up:

youth denied:
I guess that this vid was the one to get you more experienced in terms of fx usage and therefore, it inherits a certain cheasyness, but due to the very nice synchage it really shines on its own.
definitely a very cool, borderline oldschool vid for which I'm still very glad that it didn't get banned for the local.

so grats on getting those two vids back up. but I yet have to see sth. truly original from you -__-

Yeah I know, it's simple and yet it works very good. Thanks :).

You didn't even download it ;). But yeah it's a nice video. Somehow these two are still my faves altough they didn't really needed that much effort. Thanks for the reply.

I don't think you did since these are a bit older. :P

Hm, ok you say basic effects and your right, actually there are some maskings and a few effects in it but it's mainly noneffect. I'm glad it appeals to you though since you have a veeeery high standart just like me. ;)

Hehe, effectusage with a freewareprogram called Movie DV yep, altough I abandoned it only a few months later. Basically Lonesome Wolf was ought to show what the program can really do, mainly the effects of this video were meant to get a little change into the overall syncing methods so it does not get boring.

I create what I like to see so acutally I don't care about being original, I mean it's the only Mercenary video on the org as far as I know and I guess I'm just not that original that I can think of anything useful that'd still be fun to edit. Thanks for the feedback.
