Easy way to get XVID/DIVX working in Vegas!

You must not re-encode the file with any program! The only thing you must do is to install the Tsunami Filter Pack 3.9.9!

Its great and all AVI files are working!

Out of curiosity, is there another version of that page, or at least some documentation for the pack, in English?

Is there a list somewhere of exactly what-all goes into that pack? I don't trust codec packs on principle.

The only reason I trust the CCCP is cause I can turn everything off or uninstall the entire thing.

Doesn't including FFDShow in that pack render most of the other codecs absolutely redunant?

Sorry don't know but before I've installed the codec pack no avi video runs in vegas. I've installed some codecs like xvid, etc.. but it didn't work.
When I installed the codec pack all avi videos run in Vegas. I have no clue what codec in this pack helped but before I encode all the videos I install the codec pack because its the easiest way ;)

From Bauzi:

Uhm I have now the version 6.0d of Vegas and I wanted to ask:
Work .avs files too, after installing this codec pack?
Anyway I can´t find a way to use my avs files in Vegas... Can somebody help me?

@Hardcoremaster:
I don´t really think, that this pack helps to use DivX and XviD files in Vegas. Why should it?
You can find me on YT under "Bauzi514". Subscribe to never miss my AMV releases. :amv:
