Searching for a downloadable copy of a video

I knew that if the content in the video is the reason it isn't available on this site, it would be because of the rape scene, but there are other videos available for download on this site that use the same 'rape scene' footage as "Every Breath".
So...... Why haven't those videos been made unavailable for download?

It wasn't banned, it was just never uploaded because it violates the regulations for being hosted locally.

I actually have a very nice quality version of Torn (the one he encoded when he was re-encoding all his videos into higher res divx). As far as Torn goes, I have no clue why he never uploaded it. I'm uploading it to rapidshare right now.

If you'd actually read what people post, you would understand that nothing was violated, he just realized that the rape scene is not suitable for the org and therefore to avoid violation he didn't upload it.

And the rules state that Excessive graphic violence and sexual nudity are not allowed, hence the rape scene making it in violation of said rules.

Of course, there are constantly videos that break the site rules and still make it through, because when you have thousands of videos there's no way the admins are going to see every single one that gets uploaded, so you may have seen videos that use the scene local before.

But like I said, Torn has nudity, but no sexual nudity. I'm guessing the knife to topless woman scene may have been a grey area that William wished to not tread...or something.

I think my question must have been interpreted incorrectly, or I must have written it in a particular way that allowed it to be taken the wrong way, but either way, what I actually meant was: "If he did upload the video onto this site, what regulations would it violate?"
And if nobody wants to tell me straight out exactly what rules it would violate, can somebody tell me where these 'regulations' are on this site?

Another thought is that perhaps the admins check in more closely on videos created by studios or whatever that are popular rather than something not many people download, and made by somebody that virtually nobody has heard about.
I suppose they added the sexual nudity rule mostly so not as many people would try to sneak their porn in. That's my opinion on it anyway.

but the rape in that movie borders on sexual content guidelines.... and IMO borders on violence guidelines (but not by the org's standards, cause to be too violent for the org it must show people's insides on the outside..)

its been a while since ive seen his vid, either way perhaps he just didnt want to distrobute it that much :/ it was his choice either way :/

and the sexual nudity clause is cause there are 12-17 yearolds on this site (sometimes younger, when they lie), and in most states its illegal for them to view such content :/ (in other states you gotta be 21 O.o hay you can vote for president but you cant look at porn :/ heh) so its to keep the org out of trouble with that sort of stuff... plus it was their decision to make that they dont want porn on their site...

I'm not familiar with the laws in America, as I live in Australia, but I do agree that it is weird that you can vote for your president over there and buy a gun (they're illegal here without a permit) but you can't buy alcohol or look at porn when you're under 21(although I don't class a rape in a video as porn, but some really weird people might). I'm actually quite glad that porn isn't available on this site, as it isn't really even relevant to what this site is about, and I would be annoyed and disappointed if I accidentally downloaded something that was pornographic, as I find that stuff a waste of my time and internet connection.
Something that's struck me as strange is that videos that have the rape scene from Perfect Blue in them (like Every Breath, for instance) either aren't or shouldn't be available for download on this site, but somehow it's ok that you can still get local downloads for other 18+ videos without so much as a warning in the description for the video in question. I would have thought that those kinds of videos would be more protected than just the ordinary ones, but I suppose not.

it depends on what state you live in....
