Ok i play online games like halo 2 and cod2 and i was wanting to make a vid of that and some amvs also so would this be a good card for that :?:

Umm...video hardware forum is that way.

And sorry I don't know much about vid cards for gaming, otherwise I'd add something useful. :?

pick your price range and slot type.
Generally speaking, the more expensive a card is, the better it will perform. However, pretty much anything in the 50-100.00 range from either Nvidia or ATI will satisfy your needs.

this one is bottom end.

this one is overkill
Just pick something in the price range I mentioned above and you'll probably be fine.

I'm confused, are you trying to capture game footage from a console, or from your computer? Because the links you pointed to are for video capture from outside sources, such as game consoles or VCR's.

So answer me this question. Are you playing these games on a PS2 or XBox, or do you play them on your computer?
