The Important Bits
-This contest will be run off a computer, so I'll accept DivX, XviD, HuffYUV, MPEG1, MPEG2, and WMV. 640x480 or higher, 2 seconds of black at the beginning and end, no bumpers/title screens.
-Five categories: Drama, Action, Romance, Comedy, Fun/Upbeat/Other. If a category doesn't get the minimum # of entries required (3), anything submitted to it will be folded into another category as deemed appropriate.
-You're allowed to submit two videos (max one video per category) unless you come to AAC in which case you are eligible for the...
-ATTENDING EDITOR BONUS! - If you're coming to Another Anime Con, you'll be allowed to enter a third video. See rules for more details regarding this.
I hope to see a lot of entries and maybe a few editors there! I don't have the email address up and running quite yet, so if you want to submit by FTP drop me a PM and I'll let you know whne things are up and running.
Good luck!

Okay, they finally set up the FTP server (and email address) and everything's working, so I can officially start accepting entries.
I can also reveal something about the prizes - the phrase "DVD" might very well be relevant, as could the phrase "autographed."
Submit now, for great justice!

1 month to go! The entry form is actually *online* now (as opposed to earlier when apparently only the rules were up), so visit http://www.anotheranimecon.com/amv.shtml for all that good stuff.
Also, as I'll now be at AWA, I'll be able to accept submissions in person that weekend.

What if a video is entered in a simultaneous con..there are some held within a few days of Sept. 25th. Is that disqualifying?
