All right! An anime club only a few miles away from where I live! Hey I saw the article about you in the Newtype USA magazine.
So....getting rid of the repetitve sources eh? NO DBZ or Metallica or even Limp Bizkit? Well good thing you kept it at that.
Listen I would love to enter this contest and actually attend one for the first time. But why just a wmv file? I use a Mac and all of my AMVs are an avi file. I don't know much about that kind of converting.
So Let me know if you can do an American University chapter.

Here is the thing with the WMV File.
I asked on these forums what format people use for the creation of AMVs.
The Majority said WMV files and such so that is why we at DCAC set it up as a WMV File.
One format to deal with rather than multiple formates now that I think about it.
Less hassle and all that.
You could still attend the event however and would be very much welcomed.

Also keep in mind that this is our first time doing this so your imput can be used for the next time we do this event.
Thank you for your imput.

Good luck on the competition btw. I'm not sure how likely I'll be sending anything, but it seems interesting.

Anyways, you want us to send you the amv via e-mail? I could understand sending you the amv info through e-mail, but creating a high quality .wmv file and sending it through e-mail isn't going to happen. (for me at least). If someone wanted to enter, could they e-mail you a link to download the amv along with the amv's info instead? Just a thought.
My next biggest project to come...

wait on it!

wait on it!

Most cons use MPEG-2 videos, just FYI. Good luck with the contest.

How about this.
Send us a disk via mail to our club address in any format you can give us.
As long as we can have play the video on our computer it will be cool.
I have edited the rules above.
Again this is our first time doing something like this.
Also you catch more bees with honey than you do with vinager.

If you have Nero. You can burn DVD's of the music videos. Most of the time Nero will allow you to drop the video into the program and then allow you to burn it to DVD. I've dropped in WMV, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, XVID, Huffyuv.
Sure I'll submit a video. I'll stop by the contest possibly.
