Just out of pure curiosity, how does a forum thread become popular? What is it about the thread that peopleconsider it "popular"?
Is it the number of posts?
Number of views?
Number of people who post to it?
All of the above, within a certain time period?

So exactly what makes it popular. I never really understood what.

Write a long paragraph and try to ask about something that can't be answered about AMVs. Make sure you sound really pretentious, so everyone else will try to one up you and sound like they know even more about AMVs than you do.

And don't worry about being popular, that's not what this is about. Just have fun and post interesting threads. Threads like "how old is the oldest editor?" would stir some posts up.... i wonder ...

Isn't there any other forums you go to with an off topic section? This one doesn't have one so I don't know why you have to ask that here. It has nothing to do with AMVs so expect a lock or something for this thread
