no it isn't and if you'd read my audio guide you'd know why.

You should use the LAME codec but you should ideally give it WAV headers and mux it with virtualdub (not nandub). The current edition of the audio guide doesnt really go into this in enough detail but the updated version I have written does.

It will be released along with the new video guides.

yeah, but it doesn't take much off.

i had a 47 meg file....and it went down to roughly 37...

he's got a whopping 80 meg file. i don t'think 70 is gonna get him anywhere.

You were the one who said "the best thing"

I know you know lots about audio/video technology but I think you'll realise when you actually finish a video that in order to make the thing in a form that everyone can play you have to dispense with many of the new-fangled toys due to incompatibilities and the general public's unwillingness to try new things.

I'm just making people aware of what works best for amv distribution, not works best for your personal dvd rips, so forgive me if I keep appearing and telling you that you are wrong. You are smart enough to be able to make your own desicions about such tech matters but not eveyone is, so try and avoid giving people advice that is not appropriate for their needs.

heh, alright alright. I have to say I didnt know anything of giving it a wav header and muxing in vdub, I was under the impression that vbr mp3 + nandub = the best way to go :|
