I don't even worry about spamming. It's just a part of our everyday. So why worry about?

Anyways, I'm not saying that I like spam, it's just that some people feel that's the only way they can be heard. Using quantiy over quality. And I don't think there's anything wrong with that. :D

Not the brightest idea. Putting limits on the interaction of people, although it may seem like pointless posting, will only cause resentment and anger when it's not neccesary.

yeah, bad idea. Besides, that way the top 10 would remain the same forever because 100 is easy to hit in one day and nobody would get more posts in a day than anyone else.

Or they'd just set up multiple accounts, e.g., derobert, derobert1, derobert2, ....

Multiple accounts = multiple eamil addresses = multiply the account numbers of the Org = easiliy 100,000 members

hey, I wouldn't mind having two of both....

But the spammers don't want to spam as much as get their post count up, so multiple accounts would be pointless.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

this is a HUGE misconception and its completely false. I spam more for the fun of it and less for the post count, thats just an added bonus.

It's not a huge misconception.. I've seen people post at the max limit of 60 posts and hour in attempts to get their post count raised.

I think it was Chef who spent hours posting the lyrics to The White Room by Cream.

There are people who think that post count == kudos.

I personally feel sorry for the moderators who have to read all that crap.

I spam for fun. My post count doesn't really matter.
