Phenomenon
God... 2006-07-21 04:47:06 I swear if I see one more music video that’s Action / fighting / DESTRUCTION set to "Phenomenon" from "Thousand Foot Krutch" my head is going to explode. It's not a fight song. LISTEN TO THE LYRICS... If you ask me its a song for INITIAL D! It's a street race car song... CAMON!
I know they are good amv's but seriously... Get some originality.
(End rant)
Knock yourselves out, I don't own Initial D. I'd do it but it's obvious I cant.

It's been done to Initial D at least once...
Though, really... I'm tempted to do an Otaku Profile video to it--like, "The Phenomenon of Anime." The only lyric that actually mentions racing is the one about nitrous anyway--so for that you can drop in eX-Driver or Initial D or Gate Keepers or... yeah.
Great song, though.

?! That’s not the only lyric... Are you kidding me? Are you listening to the lyrics and thinking of any racing animes at the time? UGH let me point it out then:
00:00 - 00:05 = dip to black clips with random cool cars everywhere.
00:05 - 00:11 = Electric sounds in the music, show clips of people working on their cars. Can be random.
Next is lyrics:
"If you like us" - Important people need to be shown (the main people / racers).
"Calling all riders" - Now random racers from different regions.
"Roll up beside us" - Obviously cars getting lined up for races.
"No place to hide us" - People gathered EVERYWHERE down the race track ready to watch the race.
"All freedom fighters" - More shots of the crowds everywhere and the racers revving their cars with their companions cheering on the sidelines.
"Let’s unite us" - This is the part where the crowds starts cheering and the racing is about to begin.
"Switch on your nitrous" - Cars peeling out and starting the race.
"And let’s go" - Set yourself up to portray crazy random race scenes.
"Destination for navigation" - To be creative you could show past clips of people planning out interesting racing strategies.
"Man up ya stations" - Now switch back to reality and show those people at those points and using those strategies.
"Feel the sensation" - Show some people in their cars with tons of pressure on them even though they are enjoying it.
"Surround invasion with communication" - The people using the 2-way radios controlling the race come in here.
"Move quick, we might avoid contamination" - This is the part where you show someone avoiding oncoming cars or objects or barely surviving a turn at full speed or something.
"Down" - Show something with tons of pressure, this is a huge outburst in the song.
"Here comes the sound" - this is most likely a part where someone does something drastic.
"Everyone pound your feet to this Phenomenon" - Either that drastic event succeeded or failed here, like a crash or a racer passed another doing something insane.
"Now let's make it loud" - The crowd cheers and screams.
"Let me show ‘em all how" - Switch to the main racers controlling the shift, clutch, steering wheel etc.
"You move to this phenomenon" Show the interaction of those shift, clutch, steering to the car and the race.
"Roll! Open your soul" - The important racers here would be driving wild and be shown clips inside the car of them under extreme pressure.
"Maybe lose control inside of this phenomenon" - Some more intense driving clips maybe some more crashing.
"Just let yourself go" - The main important racer should be winning the race at this point and enjoying it.
"And let everyone know" - Show clips of everyone congratulating them and him boasting or something.
"You move to this phenomenon" - Show the drastic parts again from the race with cool effects or set yourself up for the next race in the next part of the song.
Really the only part I could find myself having trouble with is:
Don't let these spiders
Crawl up beside us,
They want to bite us,
Inject the virus.
I'd probably show really dark and evil racers that do things to make the other racers wreck or something against the rules. Messing with other peoples cars or something. Either way every song has a hard part and that would probably be it for that amv.

If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But that's a closed-minded view. You can actually look at quite a few of those lyrics and say, "Well, it could also mean this," and make it work.
Just saying, it doesn't have to be used for a racing Anime alone. Hell, one could use like, a Mecha or superhuman Anime to the nitrous line if they wanted.
Just keep the options open, don't fight imagination. XD

I sugguest you learn to post something worth reading, as for it being used in mecha, fighting, etc... It has been done like 20 times to ONLY those. I was sugguesting it be done to a racing anime because it hasn't been done... (Ok it hasn't been done "WELL") Isn't doing something thats different using your imagination? What the hell does originality mean anyways. This thread is done.

Ha hahahaha… Oh sheesh. This song could be about more than you might know. Have you ever been to a nitrous party? It’s funny. Literally. It’s a laughing riot. Sounds to me like a nitrous dance party song. SAY, “NO,” TO DRUGS!Eva-Fan wrote: I was sugguesting it be done to a racing anime because it hasn't been done... But what I think is really funny is how I can see this going very easily to Ichigo 100%. It’s a show about cooking. Or even Cooking Master Boy. It’s easy to work in those 4 difficult lines when finding clips for food poisoning or contamination.
You could even do a spoof of the 1996 John Travolta movie, Phenomenon. Granted your target audience would be ‘little’ to ‘clueless.’ And you’d have to take an artistic license with just about every one of the lyrics, but it could be done.
I’m going to have to second the notion that this would actually make a good racing AMV.
