Best AMV Convention?

Post by SQ » Tue Jul 25, 2006 11:53 am

So I was wondering, from you guys what is the convention you just can't miss if you're an AMVer? I'm not talking about "best anime convention", but "best AMV Convention".

I used ot always think AWA was the hot spot, but every year it seems like more people will say Otakon or Sakuracon.

So, what is the best convention for AMVers, AMVs, and AMVing?

Never been to Sakuracon, but I do go to ACen, Otakon, and AWA each year, and have heard numerous stories about AX and Fanime who also have big AMV contests. And I can say without a doubt, of all of these, AWA is by FAR the cream of the crop.

You just love it because they gave you a giant cowbell for your porn vids. And the good times at Ushicon were all had at NON-Ushicon locations ;)

Why must you remind me of how I miss Austin? :(
