Could someone please help me find a good song?

Hey. I have never made an AMV before, but I always liked to look at some. And, now I am going to make one for a certain RP forum. But, I have no idea on what music to get. I want music like the one in this video

Basically stuff like Sephiroths theme. But, I dont want it to be a very overused song. I would like it to be a song that is similar, but its a new song to most people. Thanks in advance. The only songs I can think of is Divinity I, J-E-N-O-V-A or even any songs from the Final Fantasy Advent Children Soundtrack

Well, Nightwish is exactly what you're looking for, but that's done to death, so I won't even suggest that.

I can't think of anything off hand that sounds exactly like that, but I'm pulling parts from that style of music, and here are a few suggestions.

I can suggest Juno Reactor though. It's slightly more electronic and upbeat, but it has that same cataclysmic feel to it. This is because they are Electronica, the music is faster, and they've done quite a bit of music for The Matrix. My personal favorite song by them is, "Masters of the Universe." They've got a lot of chanting or muttered lyrics.

On that same string, Iceman's "Caution" or "Lost Complex" may interest you.

There's always the Devil May Cry Soundtracks.

The older Muse albums have a bunch of darker stuff, but that might be a little off the wall.

Try Lacrimosa, its a brilliant orchestral piece, or anything from the Narnia soundtrack.

if you want things that sound similar to the Sephiroth theme, those are your best bet, or just study some films/games and jot down the names of the songs.

if you dont want that, then i suggest you listen to some Dir En Grey, they are the most successful J-rock band ever. they're music is perfect to blend with AMV's.
