This is my first vid since i've grown into a better editor... //sigh// i hope the quality in everyway is better then it use to be... ^.^

I tried so hard to go all-out... but not to the point of annoyance for the viewers...

Please View my vid... i worked extra hard on it... and added a lot of my own digital effects to make the clips look new and original! ^.^

1st Thought: Horribly Video Quality, Horrible Audio Quality.

2nd Thought: Needs more Yui.

3rd Thought: MOTHER FUCKING SIGNED.

You started off really sluggish, but your last two minutes or so were brilliant. I had almost, almost gotten to the point where I was about to turn it off because the editing synch was too slow coupled with the pixelation and distorted audio. Glad I didn't. At some point, and not sure how you did it, you hit the groove, and the second half of the video was a completely different video altogether. Synch was awesome, emotion was raw, effects used wisely and to promote the emotion. The end had me pumping my fist and yelling "YES!"

You will get a more detailed op, and I implore you to reedit the first half and get better video and audio. That second half is what greatness is made of.

I agree with Kionon that the second half was much better edited than the first. Also about the audio. It was peaking all over the place.

As far as video quality, I bet if you used a nice xvid or other avi encode, it would be much prettier. I can see you used nice source footage, but it got a little lost in the export.

Loved the bit with Hotohori and Tamahome with "when two stars collide". That was brilliant! ;)

The last half rocked! I agree whole heartedly. I think some of the fades and overlays were a little distracting in the beginning but you really pulled it all together on the second half. The lip sync needs some tweaking on the first half but I know that's a difficult thing to fine tune. I agree with the above advice. The emotion was there and the final scenes really had me. Above all I think the video quality was the main thing that needs work but I think you have a good eye!
