Uploading FTP Error?

I opted to upload my video onto the site. I know how to use FTP and let the video load onto the address given to me. I went back today to check on the page and there's nowhere to download it. Does it take a while to be viewable on the site? The upload finished in FTP but now I can't even log back onto that same page (yes, even with my Firewall switched completely off).

Did you confirm the upload?
