I'll do your video effects

While working on a short, effect heavy vid last night (this. source footage was 7 still photo's. Thanks to trythil for stolen audio) I realised that I enjoyed creating effects more than sync editing. So I thought I'd make a proposal. Anyone who for some reason would rather not do some video effect themselves can give me a PM and I'll see what I can do. Yeah there are conditions but they're variable. My effects skills aren't up to zarx0rx abilities but I'm pretty handy with Combustion (think AE, but for the kids who chose vegas over premier).

AE can be used just fine in conjunction with Vegas. It's not like choosing these companies' products are choosing sides in a neverending battle between good & evil.

req dude, I think you took my comment a little too seriously. I was just saying that Combustion is a similar alternative to the much more well known After Effects.

I don't take anything seriously, as if my reputation here didn't already suggest that. Doing FX for other people is the weakest shit I've ever heard of, next to someone gettin' someone else to do them in your own video. I understand that everyone doesn't have time to learn the IMMENSE INTRICACIES of keyframing. I'd understand if it was a highly complex idea that required shitloads of layering and motion vectoring.

I also know you're probably doing this for your own sake to sharpen your teeth on this shit, but I'm gonna laugh when you're kneedeep in Naruto panels.

=| Not impressed, seriously though just like req said stupid proposal... Also if your doing stuff like that, why bother with it? Anyone could pull that out of they're ass in about 10 mins while only using presets...
