I actually thought it was quite good. I don’t remember any actual syntax or editing problems. I had no idea what to make of it, but about a minute into it, I finally understood where it was going. I had this sudden realization that, “this is brilliant—awesome!” Unfortunately I guess it was a little unorthodox for the rest of the crowd. I can give you a critique if you’d like.anneke wrote:So if people would be so kind as to let me know that they did see my video in the pre-screenings and what they thought of it, it would be appreciated.
Video was: Mr. Alucard
Audio: Mr. Roboto
Visual: Hellsing TV Series.

“No, Teacher! I don’t want to! Assignments and deadlines make art class no fun!”Mroni wrote:I don't like the way otakon is judged. You can stack an audience at a prescreening. An Ideal way to do it would take all of the previous years finalist and send them the contest vids and have them judge them.

You can’t make me review videos that I don’t want to review! AGH!!!
This competition is just for fun! It’s not like anyone gets anything for winning these competitions. I wasn’t aware that so few people show up for these screenings until after I actually went. The decision was made by 52 people? Over the course of 3 screenings, I don’t think anything was stacked. I mean, this isn’t a presidential election (shh! I didn’t say that). Voting is voting, and the only way to avoid “stacking votes” is to counter “stack votes” by going out and voting. While I’m rallying for a cause, I’d like everyone to sign a petition to fight against suffrage. END SUFFRAGE!!!
