TWO WEEKS TO AWA PRO DEADLINE! Are we having fun yet?

There's been an unfortunate turn of events (or perhaps fortunate). Last year I released via the Org a KOR video. Turns out, as I was digging through an old harddrive that the version I have "released" is in fact a beta. The final version is much, much better and has never been shown. Is it disqualified from appearing in, say, Expo, or can it be sent?

Videos in Expo are only banned from competing if they have previously competed in an AWA contest. We've taken years-old videos in the Expo contest previously.

If the video has previously competed in an AWA contest, but is a significant re-working of the vid then it may be able to compete again. This happens really, really rarely, and will be the policy right up until someone decides to be an ass about it and use it as a work-around to try and win repeatedly.

b) Out of country contestants, I'm assured that www.usps.com has functions for printing out US shipping labels for the SASE. It just requires a lot of digging through their typically difficult-to-navigate-site. If this is NOT the case (and someone lied to me) tell me ASAP and I'll try to sort it out.

Oh, good. It has not competed at all, anywhere. Looks like I have a Pro and an Expo entry this year. Go me.

For AWA Pro, are we allowed to upload our videos in time, but mail in DVD-Rs later(not too late)?



and what would you recommend on how u mail in 5 dvds? put each one in a thin jewel case and then put all that in some mail-package-thing ?

Yes, though we prefer getting the packages on time.

You got it. The thin jewel cases all in a padded envelope (with the return-addressed and stamped envelope) is the best way to go.
