First of all, I had no idea my AMVs were being discussed and I would like to thank the anonymous person who alerted me to the discussion on the forum concerning my AMVs. Actually, I am quite surprised myself that they have done well. They are on youtube.com, and a couple of friend's sites, as well as another friend's myspace. They have also been viewed a lot and liked on these other sites. Until Monday, they could only be downloaded on this site. In fact, I put the links on my youtube account. I also host a popular anime chatroom, where I have posted the link for people to download them. When my videos first came out they were rated highly but have since fallen off. Other than the links being widely posted on other sites, there is only one reason I can think of that they have been downloaded so much. I used popular anime with songs that are fairly new by popular bands.
My first one was so sad that I didn't think people would like it at all. I put a lot of my feelings into making it. I try to make the clips match the music and lyrics, and tell a story that is my interpretation of the song. I started making AMVs because of some of the great ones I have gotten from this site. I'm just starting out and I know I have a lot to learn about making AMVs. I have plans to make several more. I have no idea how they will do; they may be no good. I don't understand how the ratings work. I have downloaded some videos that I thought were awesome and weren't highly rated. I have also downloaded others that were rated highly that I didn't like that well. I'm sorry if the ratings of my AMVs have offended anyone, and I would like to thank those that have downloaded and rated them. I appreciate their support, and the support of those on this forum. Thank you.
