Banner help

I'm trying to make banners, but my size is always too big. I have bitmap, and only bitmap. Any suggestions?

I've never heard of the program Bitmap. Can't help. Unless of course you mean Paint.

SAVE IT AS A JPEG

Yes you do. When you go to save it, click the bottom list box and click "Jpeg"

Trust me. I use Paint all the time, you can. Click "Save as" not "Save"

Windows 98 Paint doesn't save as JPEG. If you have Windows 98 that is your problem. If you don't you can save it as a JPEG.

When you finshed your banned go to File->Save As. It will open up this window:

You then go to the "Save As Type" dropdown box and chose JPEG. Hope it helps!

Windows 98 Paint can't save as JPEGs, only BMPs. If you have Windows 98 that is your problem. If you don't you can save it as a JPEG.

As Cornwiggle stated, when you finshed your banner go to File->Save As. It will open up this window:

As shown in the print screen, go to the "Save As Type" dropdown box and chose JPEG. Hope it helps!

Click Save As, it's right there. Windows 98 version has it.

Unfortunately, when I save it in a different type, it changes the colour drastically. Any more ideas?
