Despite having signed onto staff after the contest deadline, and doing damn near all of the work already, I've just been informed by Hackerzc that I would not be allowed to compete in the AMV contest this year since I am a staff member at Otakon.
It is unfortunate, but I will thus have to step down as coordinator, and Omar Jenkins will resume control of the competition. It will still go forth as originally planned, I already did all the work, so there's no sense in starting over.
Just putting this out in the open before the "OMFG VicBond quit working on Iron Editor, contest is DEWMED!" rumors start floating around.
