Crazy Gundam Wing idea

For a while now, I've been wondering about pairing Gundam Wing with Otis Redding's "(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay". It's been used in some movies involving war and stuff (eg Platoon, Top Gun), and I'm wondering if this would be a good idea. What's your view?

Don't really have one. It was just a little thought I had, because it was used in films like "Platoon" and "Top Gun".

I'll have to watch that movie again to see how they use it, maybe it'll give you some ideas too.

ironic that i spot this thread. i'm ripping source footage for a project right now, and i was just about to put gundam wing in my "can't use this" pile.
if i get the time, i'll download the song.
