Info on Inuyasha

I missed most of inuyasha, from this summer and last. i need the name of the ending theme from last summers and this summers episodes. I also heard that they killed off one of the team, but i know that's not true. give me a heads up if you can. i also need to know if they stopped looking for the crystal jewel shards or not.
