How do you remove unwanted credits?

Post by Taochi » Mon Jul 03, 2006 9:32 pm

I have created an amv on Windows Media player and posted it on Youtube(b/c I'm still having trouble uploading them here XP) It is called -Numa Numa -Anime style-. I added credits at the end for fun, but I would like to make another copy of my amv with the end credits removed. I am thinking of entering it in a future amv contest and the credits cannot be there.
I foolishly deleted the original clips that made up the video so I cannot make another and simply edit out the credits.

I would greatly appreciate some help! =^-^=
Thank you!

Do you mean Windows Movie Maker? I don't recall Media Player having those capabilites.

If it is WMM, you could probibly import the video back into WMM and just delete the credts. Its tough, though, if you have the credits close to the video itself since Movie Maker has a weird way of chopping up clips.

Your only other problem will be quality since you are essentially compressing a compressed video lossy.

Heh, yes that's what I meant! (My bad...sorry  ) So, I should import the orginal copy into Movie maker and put the clips back together like a puzzle? Okay, I'll try that! ^-^
Thanks!!

Unless you want to. All you have to do is cut the credits. The video will be seen as one long clip. Search through the clip until the very start of the credits and press Ctrl + L, making sure the cursor is at the start of the credits. Then delete the clip to the right and you are done
