AVISynth Scripts and lag

Post by The Non-Professional » Fri Jun 30, 2006 11:47 pm

The last time I was making a video I had ripped the VOB files and used the AVIsynth scripts to edit them in premiere, I had added a few filters but noticed too many made editing the file more difficult. I took the few which weren't so dearly important off and waited till the end of the project t re add them, thing is when I did, it completely threw off the timming of all the clips in the project. Is it just me? Is there a way to add them and not make editing so difficult or add them at the end and not mess up the timming? Any help is welcomed.

Your best bet is to use AVIsynth to make clips, then edit with those. No problems there.

What I do is just put IVTC fps changes, or whatever filters are going to make frames move around in the script first.. and then playback will be awesome.. and when your ready to export your video.. quit premiere and put the more advanced filters that clean up the footage in those same avs files, restart premiere and all the settings should be in place.. playback will be a lot slower but you shouldn't have to worry since all your going to do now is render your video. That should work fine. I don't have much experience with it working in premiere.. I've manly done that method in Vegas. Hope that works for you! If you have any problems let me know.

Remember some filters you use like frame adjustment filters and deinterlacers will do that.. hope that helps some.
