A humble request

Hello everyone who reads this post. I'm new to this site and forum and mostly just a lurker due to the fact that I absolutely love all of the AMV's that are put up here. Such talent! It's sad that I do not have it.

This post is to request that one of you talented members would be so kind as to make a vid for me for a certain pairing that I ship in the Yu Yu Hakusho fandom. It is an alternate pairing and somewhat controversial I guess you could say so I imagine alot of you probably won't even bother when I tell you who it is. Any song can be used, I'm not choosy, as long as it is a romantic "shippy" type song.

Now, for the pairing I want...

Kurama/Keiko

Yes, I know it is a weird choice, but I simply adore them together and I would make my own video if I had the skills and knowledge (and software!) to do so. I know there isn't alot of scenes in the series that has them shown together, but I'm sure one of you could manage it. I'd be willing to offer suggestions. I also have a few pieces of fanart that a few of my more artistic friends made for me that could possibly be used in the vid, if you want.

So, what do you say? Anyone up for this? Oh, please let someone be up for it!

i may or may not be able to do this. this depends on whether or not my colleagues and kurama-fans demon-chan and kitkit will kill me for doing so. but i'd like to ask... what do you mean by "shippy"?

I do hope that demon-chan and kitkit won't mind. When I say "shippy" I just mean use music and perhaps arrange the clips so that it shows Kurama and Keiko in a more romantic light towards one another is all. I write fanfics with them as a couple and I'd just light to see something visual of them together, if possible. Thanks for replying and let me know if you're able to attempt the vid.

*salutes* that's pretty much what i would have done anyway! well, let's see... i have several amv's currently in the process, so i might start after i finish at least 2 of those... and i would need to borrow dvd's from my friends and hope they actually have useable footage. *sweatdrop* if not, YAY FANART! (i do a lot of fan art, myself... most of my fics are gundam wing, and i rarely consider them to be decent. ^_^) anyway, i'm not too familiar with the couple, but i've been up for challenges and new things lately when it comes to amv-making. whee. ^_^

if i do resort to fanart (which, for me, would just be easier in the end *sweatdrop*), i may as well do a little animation, since my main project is just that. fun, fun! i hope i can get to your request soon. i get so excited by these new and interesting ambitions, like amv-making.

if you'd like, i think it would be cool if you watched some of the amv's i've already made and see if my style is to your liking. as a bit of a warning, i think most of my vids with romance use gravitation, which is shounen-ai, but it's easy to pretend one of the characters involved is a girl. also my other fanworks can be found here, my website. forgive me, if you will. i have ego problems when it comes to fandom.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'll love you forever if you manage to pull this off! Oh, who am I kidding? I'll love you for even ATTEMPTING to do it! I really appreciate this. It would be cool if you can use clips, even if there are very few of Keiko and Kurama in the same scene. Maybe you can string certain clips of them alone together and just make it seem like they're in the same scene? I don't know, I'll leave it up to you. I don't usually like shounen-ai, but I did enjoy Gravitation, and I will definitely take a look at some of your vids, but really it doesn't matter if I like your style or not, I'm just too excited about the fact that you're going to make me one!

Anyway, if you need that fanart, let me know so I can get permission from my artist friends (even though I know they won't mind) and I'll email you them, or whatever. Let me know when you get started on the project. TTYL!
