1st Vid // Moving Eva Magic!!!

Hey Everyone, I just uploaded my first-ever "completed" AMV and I'm getting some pretty strong feed-back, check it out and let me know what you think!

It's a moving piece alright, Song is "I Want My Life" by Smile Empty Soul and goes along to the Evangelion Series

While I foudn this enjoyable, I found four fundamental problems with it.

1. Waaaay Too Long!

2. It's forgettable

3. Non-NGE Fans Will Probably Not Like It (Because they wouldn't understand the internal conflict inside Shinji, therefore the meaning of the lyrics would be lost).

4. Many clips in the AMV looked out of place and akward. I didn't like the clips from the show's intro (though the removal of the subs gains my upmost respect)

Personally, I give it 7.5/10...

that was one of the best first tries i've seen.
this is a 9 or 9.5/10

Those were clearly from Platinum, which includes the textless Opening.

That was nice. The only two things I could point out were that the audio should have been compressed, and the space saved by doing that allotted to the video, since there's noticable blockiness. It doesn't really detract from the experience, though, so that's relatively minor.

Egh. Unfortunetely, yes. I guess I over-analyzed it.. I always try hard to critique all AMV's, and therefore it sometimes come off as rude. For a first entry, I would definitly agree that this was a work of art! Sorry! It was early in the morning, and I was sleep deprived (

). I guess I'll alter the score... 8.5/10. Great job!

Oh. Lol, never seen platinum, I thought for once somebody actually took the time to remove subtitles from anime intros.

LOL, thanks guys for the advice and the compliments!

After I finished I did realize how hard it might be to follow for anyone who has not already seen the series

But I unfortunately didn't feel like starting over, hehe, plus having previously seen the series, I believe, adds much more connection and enjoyment of the video, and that's what I was going for. With my next video, though, I'm definitely going to try and make it a more all around video for all to enjoy!! And yes, it did come from the Platinum collection. Thanks again!

Don't worry too much about my statement, because people here (For the most part) should have seen NGE. For those who haven't, then they could probably see the anime's themes through your lyrics. I was just being nit-picky.

anime belle photoshopped out all of the subs on one of the naruto intros frame by frame in photoshop

mood sync = awesome...
id have to say its one of my more favorite evangelion vids

recomendations:
compress to XVID its alot cleaner these days... Divx kinda blotchy...
