  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

F.E.A.R. - Reloaded

Welcome back everybody,
Now Allot of people might be wondering, "Why are you releasing this AGAIN?". Quite simple actually, The original topic got locked some time ago. So I couldnt bump that one back into existence with these new versions.

Yep thats right 4 New Versions.

16:9 - Buffed Xvid
16:9 - Mpeg 2 (Widescreen TV display only recommended)
4:3 -- Mpeg 2 (Normal TV display only recommended)
Special Directors Comment 16:9 edition - Xvid (Extended)

You might be wondering, "Why the new versions?!?!". Well allot of people had a problem with the 4:3. And the DC was strangely requested allot, even though it were probably jokes at that.

Anyway I'll let everybody sink their teeth into these versions. Hopefully giving you the opportunity to replace the original with a more suitable version for yourself.

Ok I wasn't that convinced by it since it basically only tells the viewer what you see anyway. I expected some technical things like effects and maybe the fact you used not only premiere but also recent plugins. Maybe this video tells the viewer some incorect facts by telling "only Premiere". But it's a nice special feature so yeah I like it anway. And thanks for adding me to the "Special Thanks" altough I don't know what I did to get in there.

Well everything was actualy done IN premiere no external work unless you count the lights in the beginning but I just see that as open source fotage that was modded in Premiere. I've tried doing a techincal version but feel free to ask ingow there is to much to talk about thus I couldnt keep up with the video. If you want technical stuff then you just ask me cause I doubt people are waiting for a Editor Comment instead of a Directors Comment ;) I've made a clear line between the two I think at this time.

I might make a all out log with images on the technical notes ones I have more time and actualy have my own site up and running ^^

Well, I guess I don't need much of the technical advice but for lets say more unexperienced people it'd be a great help so I tought that's what you did. Anyway I guess you're right drawing a line between editors and directors comments. Anyway I'm looking forward to see your side ;).

I actually liked it.

You know the problem is that this isn't an 8min AMV.

You should also do a director's commentary on a movie. That you will do.

So basically I think that this might've been better training for you than for the viewer ;>
