what the point of changing the name into hosatchel?...evenbody still know it youtube.

Why I hate hosatchel.com:

Quailty is poor. Not to say that alot of vids on the org suffer this same fate..but at least then you can blame the editor and not the site that the vid is on..

If a person is too lazy to actually <i>download</i> a video..then I'm not too sure I even want that person to see a video I took time and effort to make.

Places such as the one named above encourage people to rip off other peoples vids and pass them off as their own..which while it isn't illegal, it's a big pain in the rear.

As to the word filtering..I've no clue..I'm not a mod or admin and I can't, nor do I want to, read their minds.

Competition. The .org's very reason for existence is to collect all the AMVs it can. If someone hosts it on hotsatchel [lol, I actually typed it as "hotsatchel"] - that's one less video that could have been on the .org - AND IN BETTER QUALITY.

And once you get past the initial "omg streaming flash!!1", the .org is also more convenient. You get to keep your videos (without jumping hoops), you can put them in playlists, they're easier to convert to things... you get the idea.

hosatchel is actually only good for advertisement... thats it.

what i dont like is this stuff:

I'm actually thinking of taking several of my vids off of there because of the legality issues i keep hearing that its having with even its non-anime and non-fanvid videos... I've heard (though from possibly unreliable sources) that little girls lipsyncing are getting the RIAA on their butts... WTF is with them going after kids all the time?

i also dont like all the "ass-kissing" that goes on there... aparently the most crappy videos will get about a half a dozen (or more) comments about how good they are... (like one gigantic AMV support group O.o) but the moment someone mentions that something could improve their video (like taking off subs or something similar) that person gets chewed out, called names, and pretty much told off... then they get their "friends" (AKA multiple screennames) to go and spam your vids with stupid comments...

i have taste sorry... I dont leave feedback there unless someone actually asks for it.

I'm sure this happens on the org as well... but people there like to turn things into flame wars... and abuse the "rating system" because of it, doesnt seem to happen AS OFTEN here... or atleast its not as public, and if it does happen here there are mods that can fix stuff for you.

hosatchel is almost completely unmoderated... if you go to a report anything at the tube, im sure your videos will be deleted as well for coppywrite infringement... (or so i fear... O.o)

i dont believe in the hosatchel rating system, it has to be even more bull than the star rating here... (most of them are higher on the tube btw)

too many requests to see certain body parts on me... i dont make video blogs for the pervs that just want to fap fap fap.... if they want that then they can stop wasting their time and find someone who is willing to shove their ass in the camera... I make my vblogs for my friends.

I've never recieved a comment on any of my vids here that told me/the public to go to some site and do serveys to make money... I have recieved those at the tube : P

im really kinda tired of the attention whores there that spam their videos out... i guess i never felt the need to do something like that...

if youre actually into the "video blogging" then its one huge soap opera (one i dont plan on taking a part of... i thought of making a video that mentions some of the "hosatchel celeberties" as they are called, but then i realized if i did then that would mean i would be dragged into their drama, and thats the last thing i want... it really is like one huge soap : P)

oh im sure that theres more, but i cant think of any right now...
I'm seriously thinking of finding another site... (for video blogs... duh) youtube is almost just not worth it.. lol

i forgot to mention that a good number of the time youtube will also kill audio sync... the quality is poor and low and sucky and even myspace has one up on them for that
