Actually, far from making me want to cry, these numbers are much lower than I'd expect - apart from the obvious ones. I'd expect some of these to have a few thousand. Not even because of quality but because of how much I've heard of them or how much press they got among the community.

Though then, to really reach eyeballs (if that's your game) it's not only about the community here but fans of the series you're using, random newbies, and probably the internet at large. My last video tanked hard here (it has less than a hundred downloads), but LiveJournal loved it - because over there we're all shallow shoujo-watching bishounen-loving fangirls.

So don't despair. Well, ideally don't worry about it, but even if you can't help it, there's more than one way to whore a video.

True, but the fact that Guitars Last Forever has less downloads than a 3 day old video is still kinda dispointing.

I'm pretty sure the numbers on some of my videos are off, because I've changed or deleted links, and it deleted whatever numbers I had for them.

People need to go out and download WHO SENT YA?! some more! It was fourth! The lowest I have (and I don't blame anyone) is The Disintegrators (167 Local only), and I wish I had more for Misunderstandings - 227 (143 Direct + 84 Local)

Oh. Someone should've added the "lowest downloads" category for comparison as well!

In that regard, my "milkfight.avi" is lowest with only 65. Which is shockingly higher than Malificus' highest.

How odd, but man, I keep forgetting that you actually make AMVs. I'll make a point of checking them out further, etc., to fix the injustice or something
