AMV Recommendations suggestion

Post by Malificus » Wed Jun 14, 2006 12:16 pm

Hopw about a "Best Videos using obscure anime" category? Maker it so you reccomend videos that use an anime that oinly appears in X videos (make the number something like 30 or 50).

That way we can get recommendations of AMVs that aren't made from the popular anime.

I also have a suggestion.

"Best Hell AMVs" category for AMVs made in the same/similar format as the AMV Hell series.

I know there are quite a few of them on the .Org
"If you're not cheating, you're not trying!" - R.I.P. Eddie Guerrero (1967 - 2005)
Through tragedy, she found triumph. R.I.P. Coretta Scott King (1927 - 2006)
Long live the "King of Pop"! R.I.P. Michael Jackson (1958 - 2009)

In this case, "obscure" is really synonymous with "unpopular" especially considering that it would have to be used so few times. Besides the name, this would mean that eventually the catalog entries might disqualify it, and recommendations would have to be removed.

The first ones of course to be listed, would be all of the AMV Hells :o . I'm rather against creating a topic for a genre of video that came into being by ripping off the "original."

If any of those other "hells" are good enough to someone, they can probably be put in one of the other threads, like comedy.

I admit this thread might require more monitoriing to ensure this, but yes, that is true. It'd also be synonymous with new.

I see.

Would a topic for best MEPs also be out of the question?
