Preview of New AMV... Would like some feedback...

This is a preview of a new amv I just started on. It uses a song that I wrote the lyrics to and I had a local band help me out with it. I described the tone of the lyrics and how I wanted them to be sung and as for the instruments I try to hum it out since I'm not musically inclined. So then I told the rest of band just to go with the rythm of the lyrics and come up with something. I described to them some of the songs they have already written and went on that as a guide line.

The song is called Decissions. The band is named Crimson Orchid.
The animes I'm using in this amv are Bleach, Samuri X, Wolf's Rain, Escaflowne The Movie, and Naruto.

I just wanted to get feedback on the opening I have for this amv, so I made it into a mini trailer. Let me know what you guys think of it and what could be improved upon.

I already know the one Naruto scene around 0:17 it is cropped any scene that I'm cropping I'll correct them all at the end to be resized. If anybody has any other recommendations that is not a pain in the rear, let me know.

It really was good, can't wait till you finish it. The sound wasn't so good. But that was really something, even if it was 34 seconds i enjoyed every second.

Are you talking about the voice? or was the sound quality bad? If so it was intentionally done to sound like the borg from Star Trek the Next Generation and Star Trek Voyager with a slight alteration to it.

I'm glad you enjoyed the video though.

I'm really looking forward to working on the next part. However I have enough footage, now I need more HD space. Already up to 560 GB. I have to at least save 40%-50% on my main HD so that way my comp will not crash when going into priemere and it has to do it searching. Anyways I'm open to more feedback.

I also notice that. I have to do a final encoding when I complete the video to do it all at once. When I add it into the avs script the clips do not run properly in Priemere for whatever reason.

i heard crakcs in the sound and thats why i said the sound wasn't so good, but they weren't so many. The voice was good i liked it a lot, no complaints there.

First thing that bothered me: it's spelled "decision".

It's a very intriguing intro, definitely makes me want to see the finished video.

I liked the use of colour and black & white.

-The Kenshin scene at 0:11 jerks kind of strangely, like a couple frames skipped or something.
-The Wolf's Rain overlays at 0:26 look a little confusing, as the bottom layer scene cuts to another scene while the top layer is still visible. It looks a little jarring.
-The Escaflowne movie footage needs that big black bar at the bottom cropped out too.

As for some extra ideas, maybe do a slight motion zoom in on the two scenes at the beginning, of Tsume and Ichigo, and maybe cross fade them into each other rather than fade to black inbetween. Also, on those overlay scenes with Kenshin and Kiba, maybe make the top layer blurred a bit so it's a little easier to make out what's going on.

It's looking promising.

Thanks for your feedback Sierra. It's really is helpful. I'll take another look in Priemere tonight. As for the wording "decision". On the album the cover guy actually wrote "decission". So I payed no attention and went off of that. Good catch thought. It would suck to have an amv you worked on and then have something misspelled.
