Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

...so now I have software.

Post by Phantasmagoriat » Tue May 30, 2006 12:39 pm

...I haven't been active for a couple months now[not that anybody noticed] but it's because I switched from WMM to Magix movie edit pro 10, and spent time playing with the program. Yes, this is a redo, but:
-the subtitles are gone
-timing improved [WMM is terrible for timing!]
-effects added
-artistic intro
-and even my first attempt at lip synch[next to impossible in WMM!]

I don't mean to sound redundant, but please tell me what you think...

if there were any negitive comments, it would be on the Files-Size ... 8-)

See if you can find the "Cleaning Video's" part of the Info, on this web site, and follow its filtering rules for Cleaner Smaller Video's.

Thanks, x_rex30, and thanks for the suggestion, post-it.

...although for a ~5min movie, I didn't think 67.4 MiB was too bad since I'm pretty sure I see this all the time :? [not to say other editors do things correctly]... but anyway, it's something I'll look into. :)

I like it, hell, i'd even buy the program you used to start making vids with! (both of the videos i made in my sig are from WMM...so yeah, they're good, but its like they're missing a certain taste.)

...yeah, WMM is able to make AMV's but the amount of things you can do is sooooo limited, but timing and the like can be achieved, just by slowing down the clip, then splitting it, then speeding it up again....

...well... lets just say, if you put the same amount of effort into a vid using software other than WMM, your end result will be immensely better.

[magix is ~$50... and for what you can do, totally worth it]
