Why?

I'm sure everyone has his or her own reason for making AMVs. My reason is because I enjoy entertaining people. Even if the material I use isn't my own. I was inspired to make them long before I knew others had already done so. When I first got into anime, at some point I figured, "whoa. Wouldn't it be cool if someone put this stuff to rock music?" This was before I discovered the community we have here. AMVing also allows me to show off what I love in the worlds of anime and music and exactly why I love each so much.
