Well I personally don't just consider an op for it's ratings, but for it's content. I personally write (now) ops that have a length of more than 1000w. Since most of the ops io have given up till now were free ops the ratings are quite mixed. I persoanlly think that the criticism is the thing that matters, so I try to find some mistakes when I give ops. I don't have a problem when someone is rough with me and telling em how bad I did, as long as it is constructive. In order to prevent ppl from being pissed, I kinda sign my ops with something like: "I may sound harsh, but all this is meant as a friendly advice". As far as Im concerned I thinkl of myself a good critic, although it's hard to give a common Naruto-vid a constructive op.
Another point are the craetors comments, I just hate it if the creator doesn't comment on the op.
