Yami no Matsuei

Hey!

What do you think of a kinda funny Dr. Muraki centric video with the Kiss song "Calling Dr. Love"?

Lyric goes like this:

You need my love baby, oh so bad
You're not the only one I've ever had
And if I say I wanna set you free
Don't you know you'll be in misery
They call me (Dr. Love)
They call me Dr. Love (calling Dr. Love)
I've got the cure you're thinkin' of (calling Dr. Love)

And even though I'm full of sin
In the end you'll let me in
You'll let me through, there's nothin' you can do
You need my lovin', don't you know it's true

So if you please get on your knees
There are no bills, there are no fees
Baby, I know what your problem is
The first step of the cure is a kiss

So call me (Dr. Love)
They call me Dr. Love (calling Dr. Love)
I am your doctor of love (calling Dr. Love), ha
They call me (Dr. Love), they call me Dr. Love (calling Dr. Love)
I've got the cure you're thinkin' of (calling Dr. Love)

Ooh, they call me (Dr. Love)
I am the doctor of love (calling Dr. Love)
I've got the cure you're thinkin' of (calling Dr. Love)
Ooh, they Call me (Dr. Love)
I am your doctor of love (calling Dr. Love)
I've got the cure you're thinking of (calling Dr. Love), yeah
Yeah, they call me (Dr. Love)
They call me Dr. Love (calling Dr. Love)
I've got the cure you're thinkin' of (calling Dr. Love)
Love, love, love, (Dr. Love)
Love, love, love, love, (calling Dr. Love) love Dr. Love
(Calling Dr. Love)
I've got the cure you're thinkin' (Dr. Love)
I've got the cure you're thinkin' (calling Dr. Love)
I've got the cure you're thinkin' of (calling Dr. Love)
They call me Dr. Love (Dr. Love)
They call me Dr. Love (calling Dr. Love)
I've got the cure
8-)

I'm just saying, there's not a funny scene in that anime featuring muraki that could be actually 'turned funny' unless like... the flying car or something.... And there is nothing in that song that would make this video executable. Only time he's ever kissing someone is like when he's trying to rape Tsuzuki... in what? Eps 08 and 13?

Do it! I don't know the series apart from what I've seen in AMVs, but it sounds amusing.
And even though I'm full of sin
In the end you'll let me in
You'll let me through, there's nothin' you can do
You need my lovin', don't you know it's true
Hisoka?

If the lack of real kissing scenes is a problem, then you can either show him attempting to kiss someone, rotoscope him kissing someone, or combine the above. I'd cut the end of the song off too, since you're probably going to be running low on good footage by then.

Yes, I think at the end I'll go out of good scenes but your kissy-idea is great! Thanks!

:D

I just got one problem. I don't have any software to make such vids. I hoped someone could do it who has more experience...

I've used MSPaint, Magix Movie Edit Pro 2004 (which you can get for peanuts now), and MGI Photosuite SE (not the best program in the world, but it came with the computer and I knew how to use it) for background removal and substituting one thing for another. Getting a natural edge is the tricky part, but since you're doing a cheesy comedy it doesn't matter so much.

Oh yeah, and I should also point out that since MSPaint doesn't have any kind of tools to get a curved edge when cutting out an outine, it's best to keep the number of rotoscoped frames to the absolute minimum. The GIMP would do a better job of image editing, and it's freeware, but I don't know how complicated it is to use.
